Head Lice Remedies and Removal Instructions

Lice are terrible pests. They are parasites in the hair that oftentimes have similar effects of having dandruff which can cause intense itching. But head lice are different and are more severe than just regular dandruff. They need proper removal and treatment. Here are some head lice remedies to keep you away from those parasites that are not welcome on your head.

If you are fed up of scratching too much, you can consider easy ways to make it go away. There can be remedies on head lice that are readily available on your home, the market, and on specialty shops that offer natural remedies.

People who are usually affected are young girls. If a male person is suffering from head lice, it can easily be removed by cutting the hair. This is a sure way to eliminate those little creatures. However, this option is not applicable to girls.

When talking about the head lice remedies, there are a few ways to remove the underlying problem. One is to go for the mechanical method of combing the hair using comb with tiny. Another option is the use of pesticide-based products. And lastly is the use of natural remedies.

Starting from the combing or mechanical method, you can start by using a fine-toothed metal comb. This is usually the best tool to use with the help of a normal comb. First, the hair must be soaked in a conditioner solution to ease away hair tangles. Next is the use if the common combs to further remove tangles that can make knots when being combed with the metal counterpart.

The removal process can be done with the use of the metal comb starting from the scalp to the end of the hair. This process is proven to remove head lice without too much effort. The process can be repeated every three days to reduce the chances of harming the scalp and wounding of the skin. Another tip is to avoid hair to be damp most of the time. This is to make sure the environment of the hair is not inviting for lice to multiply further.

Another method is by using chemicals for head lice. This treatment can be harmful to some people especially those with sensitive skin. Most products that are really potent have strong pesticide content which may harm the hair and the scalp. Head lice remedies using this method are proven to be effective against the tiny creatures but it always pays to be safe at all times.

The best option of removing lice can be natural head lice remedies such as Ylang Ylang oils and tea tree oil. There are also other plants or herbs and flowers that can remove the parasites in the head. These natural ways are more recommended as they will not harm the skin and can be cheaper if readily available.

All methods can secure the head from lice, it is only up to your preference as to what method you would prefer. Just remember to lessen the pressure on combing, read the instructions on pesticide based products, and make sure the natural remedies are genuine and clean before applying them to the head.
